Hulley Story

We came to the CARE Clinic a few years ago after suffering for many years from infertility. We were at the stage of trying to accept that we would never have our own children, let alone experience a pregnancy. We had been through over a dozen fertility treatments, ranging from GIFT, IVF, frozen cycles, etc and unfortunately 1 miscarriage; and also worked our way through some of the clinics in JHB and one in Cape Town.

When we first heard about Dr Ramdeo, our first thought was, what could Durban Docs know that JHB didn’t teach them? Well, we couldn’t have been more wrong… We decided to make an appointment, as we had nothing more to lose and were keen to try anything, as adoption was proving to be very difficult being across the border from South Africa.

Well, within the first couple of minutes of our appointment, we warmed to Dr Ramdeo. He really listened to us, we didn’t feel even slightly rushed and we walked out of there with a plan, and more importantly confidence in the plan! Although our initial treatments didn’t take, we didn’t feel like we were “flogging the horse”, our treatment plan was tweaked and ultimately after a few more attempts we were pregnant! Our pregnancy progressed beautifully, not without paranoia but that was swiftly put to rest, and we gave birth to a beautiful baby girl!

Dr Ramdeo and his staff are amazing and our entire experience has been incredible. We still cannot believe our little princess is here and that we can now call ourselves a family!
