JOSHUA OUR MIRACLE SON
I would like to pay testimony
to Dr Ramdeo who is not only an
excellent gynae but also a wonderful man.
My journey with Dr Ramdeo started with a simple gesture from my husband
that we should go and see a fertility specialist and give it our last
go at having a child after having tried to have a child since 2004.
After 2 miscarriages and 1 ectopic, I had given up all hope of
ever having a child and when my husband had suggested this I thought
not again, I did not want to go through the trauma again of falling
pregnancy and the heartache of losing the baby again, but I decided
that let’s give it our last try.
I made my appointment, which I could only get in 4 months time. It was
March 2010. I arrived at the Dr’s rooms with all the hope I had left,
knowing that I would be told the worst again. Dr Ramdeo performed the
necessary tests on me, I was surprised that he told me that he doesn’t
see why I cannot fall pregnant because everything looked good inside. I
left his rooms with a little bit more hope, The weeks that followed my
husband and I had to do a serious of blood tests to determine if
everything else was normal. The tests came back and all was fine with
both of us. The only thing that was left to do was for my husband to do
his sperm test. Whilst all these tests were been done, my medical
savings funds had also ran out, so whatever had to be done after this
would have to be paid CASH. I started temping at my previous employer
and just carried on as per normal, although we discussed often where we
would get the money to do the sperm test and for me to do the next step
which meant a DNC etc and that cost alot of money. My husband was
scheduled to do his tests on the 10th July 2010. My period was late
that week, but I thought nothing of it because this had happened before
and I did not want to get my hopes up. I eventually did a
pregnancy test on the 10th July 2010 and was absolutely ecstatic to
find out that I was pregnant. I did another 3 tests in the few
days that followed and all were positive. I made an appointment to see
Dr Ramdeo. When I arrived DrRamdeo thought that I was there
for my husband to do his sperm test, but was surprised and happy that I
was pregnant. We did a scan to see how viable the pregnancy was
and everything looked good. I was put on a course of gestone injections
and a handful of tablets to make sure that this pregnancy holds.
The weeks that followed I was in a serious state of emotions, afraid
that the 7 week period would come and I would miscarriage. I made it
past that week and the weeks thereafter, with regular visits and change
of tablets and tests, I had made it to 32 weeks. My husband and I were
so excited to know that our special angel would be born in a few weeks
time, we HAD MADE IT. My baby was born at 36 weeks, weighing in at
2,880kg at birth, a precious little boy by the name of JOSHUA. We would
never had made it through the journey of the birth of our little
miracle if it had not been for a Special doctor named Dr Ramdeo. He was
our anchor through the whole pregnancy. I believe if I had not been out
on the tablets and injections I was on, I would not be holding my son
today. The tablets, visits and injections had cost us a small fortune
especially paying cash, but for the birth of our child and holding him
in our hands IS PRICELESS AND SPECIAL and something I would never
had given up.
Thank you to the staff at Care Clinic for all the chats and special
time spent with you during the journey of my pregnancy. And a special
thank you to the man who made it all possible, Dr Ramdheo.
I was 42 when I had my little boy, I just want to say to other families
out there do not ever give up, God has a time and a place when he will
gift you with your little miracle.
